Fujian Hua Min Import & Export Corporation which has a registered capital for RMB10 million is a state-owned comprehensive import and export enterprise founded in June, 1986. It has 138 staff members and its total assets reached RMB100 million in 2000. The company has four associates: Xiamen Hua Min Import & Export Corporation, Xiamen Hua Min Hotel, Putian Hua Min Import & Export Corporation and Ningde Hua Min Import & Export Corporation. All of them are independently registed companies with their own legal representatives and have independent import and export rights.
Our company was awarded in 1993 one of the 500 biggest enterprises in service and trade in china, listed as the seventh biggest tertiary-industries in Fujian province in 2000. The total trading volume amounted to USD138.35 million in 2000 and it is awarded AAA credit class by the People’s Bank of China.
